Mariam Oreoluwa Olubori
Founder & Lead Consultant
Mariam Oreoluwa Olubori is a people performance and human capital professional with over 8 years of experience across customer experience, operations, people management, and human resources, developed within structured, performance-driven environments.
Her professional career began in Nigeria’s financial services sector, where she progressed from frontline customer service roles to supervisory and operational leadership positions. In these roles, she managed teams, enforced service standards, improved operational processes, and ensured consistent service delivery across multiple business units.
This hands-on leadership experience shaped her approach to human capital development, reinforcing the understanding that technical competence alone does not produce high-performing employees without the right standards, mindset, and accountability structures.
She pursued an MBA in Human Resource Management at the University of Sunderland. Her experience working in the United Kingdom has also informed her understanding of positive workplace culture.
She is passionate about helping professionals build confidence and maximise their potential, while helping organisations recruit, train and manage their staff for productivity.
Alongside her consulting work, she founded The WorkReady Community to bridge the gap between employability and workplace excellence. Through WorkReady, she has trained more than 50 early- to mid-level career professionals on soft skills and workplace effectiveness, designed learning experiences that improve work ethic, productivity, communication and confidence, and supported organisations in developing high-performing employees.
Today, her work sits at the intersection of business needs and people development. She supports SMEs and growing businesses in hiring, structuring and developing the right talent; career professionals in becoming confident, valuable employees; and teams in strengthening workplace culture through training and HR strategy.
